The Superocean 42 by Breitling does sporty perfectly, made in stainless steel and measuring 42mm wide it houses a caliber 17 automatic movement which beats at 28,800 v.p.h, has 25 jewels and a power reserve of 40 hours. The black unidirectional ratcheted bezel has a deep groove edge for easy grip when worn diving, the water resistance is 1500m and the black dial has a small date aperture at 3 o’clock. The numbers and hands have a thick luminescent coating and the crown and back of the watch are screwed in for maximum protection. Overall the Superocean 42 is a solid men’s watch suitable for sports wear, including swimming and diving!
