$100,000 Watch, $349 Price Tag
The authentic Patek Nautilus 5711/1A-010 is discontinued and trades at $95,000-$130,000. The PPF Factory superclone costs $349. The gap is staggering — but so is the quality of PPF’s reproduction. Here’s what you actually receive.
PPF Strengths
- Horizontal embossed dial: PPF’s Nautilus dial is their crown achievement — the horizontal lines are stamped with correct depth, catching light identically to authentic at normal viewing distances.
- Blue gradient: The signature navy-to-lighter-blue gradient is reproduced accurately. In sunlight, it shifts from dark edges to bright center — matching the authentic color play.
- Case shape: The porthole “ears” at 3 and 9 o’clock, the integrated bracelet, and the case thickness (8.2mm) match within 0.3mm.
- Bracelet: The flat-link integrated bracelet with fold-over clasp sits correctly and has the right visual proportion between link width and case width.
PPF Weaknesses
- Movement: Cal. 324 SC is replaced by a Miyota 9015 or Asian automatic. Functional but not Patek-finished.
- Caseback: PPF uses a sapphire exhibition back (correct) but the movement inside doesn’t carry the Calatrava cross medallion of the genuine — a giveaway under inspection.
- Dial printing: Under 10x, the “PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE” text is slightly thicker than authentic.
At $349, the PPF Nautilus is the closest any buyer can get to the $100K authentic experience. Order at DR.WATCH. Free worldwide shipping + 1-year warranty.
